Hoppy Easter 2012

Its crazy to think how much has changed since Easter last year!! Since a picture speaks 1000 words, here's 2,000 to show how much our little lady has grown!!

The top one is pretty much the best picture we could get of the two babies of the family, haha!! Things improved a bit this year if I do say so myself!! :) This may be something we have to try every year!

 AHHHH!! These pictures make me smile! I can't believe how happy these two people make me!

Miss McKenley also got to visit the Easter bunny for the first time. I was extremely nervous she would freak out at the site of the life-size, furry bunny, especially since it was a bit on the creepy side, but she LOVED him!! She sat there for so long and even started petting him, haha!!

Turned out SOOOO cute!!

McKenley had a blast this Easter! She didn't get to do much egg hunting because it was like a MONSOON outside :/ I'll be super excited when her and Cousin Blake can hunt for them together.  

We were also super lucky to have most of Casey's family join us! His brother, sister-in-law, and cousin Andrew came in from WYOMING!! and came to Gigi's house to enjoy an Easter lunch with us! She had so much fun with them & really took to them fast, we were sad they couldn't stay for longer & can't wait to see them again! Hopefully it won't take 3 years until the next visit!! :)

Love spending holidays with my amazing family & McKenley makes them all the more special!

Christmas #3 and 4- First Christmas Morning!!

I was so excited for McKenley's first Christmas morning, that I almost forgot, she had really no idea what was going on! The morning went as usual as we awaited the arrival of Grandpa Jim and Grandma Kim and then we got busy!!!!

 She clearly didn't get enough of opening her own gifts, because then she went to help out dad!

Casey and I had such a great time on McKenley's first Christmas morning! It was perfect! and we enjoyed a yummy Christmas morning casserole :)

...and then we were off to #4!! Papa and Grandma's house in Argyle...

After stuffing our faces full of good food.. YET AGAIN!!! It was playtime with all her loved ones!

Wordless Wednesday #7

I mean is this not the picture of perfection!

Our first Fathers Day!!

Well today we were blessed to spend time with the most amazing men in the world!! McKenley is so blessed to be surrounded by such strong male influences. Man! Her future boyfriends are in for a treat!! :)

We started our day by surprising Dad with her awesome outfit! Casey saw this phrase on a onesie online when I was pregnant and LOVED it! So, I asked my go-to embroider Candy (look up Sew Many Ties and More on Facebook if you need anything embroidered or a fun gift for someone!!!) to create her official Fathers Day outfit!

Then we headed off to my Papa's house in Argyle. She was so happy to spend time with Grandma & Papa, her Great Aunts and Uncles, her aunts, and most of all her Pops!

Just 2 more examples of men that this 3 month old already has eating out of the palm of her hand!! We're in trouble with these softys!!

We finished off our Father's Day festivities by having a yummy dinner here at the house with Grandma Kim and Grandpa Jim. I cooked baby back ribs for the very first time in the crockpot and MAN they were a hit!! 

McKenley was sure glad she got to end her day with her Grandpa Jim!!

What a fun day it was!! McKenley and I are so thankful for all the men that help us everyday! We know that we will forever be taken care of!! :) We love you guys!!
